Pomeranian puppy is not common among rescues as are other dogs. According to the standard, adult dogs should be from 3 to 7 pounds and diminutive Poms are disqualified from a show ring. If breeders claim to produce Teacup or Tiny Toy litters, the dogs are likely to be non-purebred. Too little Poms are undesirable due to frequent low blood sugar. The breed does not have large litters and as a rule, a female gives birth to 1-3 pups. They are very small at birth and should be treated carefully. Breeders often face delivery problems in their dogs and females may need cesarean sections. Pomeranian puppy is not common among rescues as are other dogs.
